Debut Album Release, Concert and Fundraiser
Nine years ago, we encouraged Danielle to bring her guitar to Callanish and share her music. Her songs touched all our hearts and feel part of our community. Now, she is launching her first album, and it will be a Callanish celebration.
On Tuesday, June 5th, join Danielle Schroeder, with Kevin Foster and musician friends Daphne Lobb, Laurel Murphy, Eric Posen and Dan Reynolds, for this debut album release, concert and fundraiser. All welcome.
Time: Wine and cheese reception at 6:30pm. Concert 7:30pm to 9:00pm.
Location: PAL Studio Theatre, 300-581 Cardero Street, Vancouver, BC
Cost: $45 / All proceeds to benefit Callanish Society.
Tip A Wee Dram 2018
On Saturday March 10th, Tip A Wee Dram brought together whiskies from around the world for a festival-style tasting event with food, silent auctions, additional Master Class and Whisky 101 tastings, and more! Al Jones and his wonderful team of over 30 volunteers worked hard to make the evening a huge success.

Whistler Gran Fondo - What a Ride!
On Saturday, September 10th, 32 members of Cycling Team Callanish rode the Whistler Gran Fondo as a fundraising event to benefit Callanish. Total funds raised was $147,000, including $45,000 matching funds from the estate of Katherine J. Heller. The after-Fondo dinner was generously funded by the Martha Lou Henley Foundation. Many thanks to the riders, the donors and supporters for all their tremendous efforts for the benefit of Callanish.
THANK YOU! Bowen Island Gives (BIG!)
In late June, Bowen Island Gives (BIG!) organized a hike up Mount Gardner and an after-party—to benefit Callanish in memory of Liz Evans. The event raised $5400, surpassing its original goal of $5000 with about 50 hikers and over 100 at the after-party. Thanks to everyone who participated. And thanks to all the fabulous volunteers at BIG! whose passion and effort made it possible. We are so grateful!
