What were the most valuable experiences for you personally on the retreat?

bullet"I found me again."
bullet"Thank you, an experience of a lifetime!"
bullet"The morning, the group sessions, the yoga, so many things. Each played a part in the overall rich texture of 5 AMAZING days."
bullet"It was invaluable to me to experience the underlying mutual knowledge we all share, with respect to our illness. It was very comforting to share, yet there was a pervasive inner peace that settled in simply by being with people who understood my struggle. There is incredible strength felt through the group members sharing their individual feelings."
bullet"Feeling truly cared for and valued by so many people."
bullet"The care in preparing our space: the flowers, the bedding, beautiful objects, candles, aromatherapy, so many thoughtful details."
bullet"The opportunity to 'retreat' from everyday life to reassess my life."
bullet"I was able to face my fears, concerns, talk about them and not be afraid of judgment, dismissal, or even misunderstanding. The crying and laughter all had uplifting qualities."
bullet"Being listened to patiently and with caring."
bullet"Consistency of daily yoga practice."
bullet"The inspiring quality of the good food and how achievable it is in one's own home, thanks to Kathy and Karen's realistic enthusiasm and knowledge."

bullet"Janie seems to know when to speak and when to listen. Her wise guidance helped me to find a new sense of peace about my life, despite the fact I know I still have issues to resolve."
bullet"Always a delight. Particularly the session being near the end of the retreat -- it allowed me opportunity to review areas of growth and also what issues came up for me that I saw in a different perspective."
bullet"I appreciated the opportunity to pick a subject and bounce it off Janie. I felt that she understood my anguish and didn't try to solve all my problems with easy solutions. A valuable part of the program."

It's so encouraging to see Daphne's shimmering spirit standing out in the dark, choppy waters of the medical profession.
